please-keep-your-laughter-to-a-dull-roar.-elsa-getty-images.0

We’re back! Took a little bit of a break, but now we’re here to talk about NBA history again. More specifically, the history of the 3 point shot, which is worth one more point than the 2 point shot because of an arbitrary line. We’re going to go in depth about the history of that lines and trends of using the line. Enjoy!

NBA 101: The Houston Era

olajuwon-608
In a brand-spanking-new podcast series, Alessandro and Dr. Alex Rice look back through NBA history to bring light to lesser discussed topics and players. First up: Houston repeat titles in the mid-90’s. While MJ was busy playing the Monstars over the fate of the Looney Tunes universe, Hakeem Olajuwon and the Rockets ran off two tiles in a row, by defeating the likes of David Robinson, Pat Ewing, and young Shaq! So why doesn’t anyone really talk about the Rockets very much? Well, we do! Listen, and enjoy.

Dr. Alex Rice (PhD Hoopology) joins Sagramore once more to talk NBA basketball. It’s another unscientific look forward into the 2014-2015 NBA season. We’re going all the way to the Finals, where either the Spurs will face the Cavs or the Hawks will face the Grizzlies. Pretty sure those are the only 2 options.

Enjoy!
